I know for most of us Halloween looks a bit different this year. We’ve made the decision not to participate in trick or treating because of the current state of things.

That definitely doesn’t mean that our kids can’t still have a magical Halloween! Not only will we be playing games all night, but we are also going to make some yummy treats including our favorite Chocolate Covered Caramel Apple Slices!

I’ve been working on fun games and activities for us to play for a while now and I think this Halloween Candy Hunt is going to be the favorite!

My kids absolutely LOVE running around the house on Easter looking for treat filled eggs so I thought why not do the same for Halloween (minus the eggs 😁).

This Halloween Candy Hunt game is great for kids of all ages. There is a short and easy riddle for the kids to solve to find out where there next treat is hidden.

Since my youngest is only two I figured his older sister can read and figure out the clues and he can follow her to find his treats.

He loves following her around everywhere she goes so I’m sure this will be a blast for him too.

I hope that this Halloween Candy Hunt game will be a ton of fun for your family this Halloween!

  1. Awesome! My kiddos are getting bigger and toddler age games aren’t cutting it anymore. This will be PERFECT for our annual haunted barn party next year! I’ll divide the kids up into teams of 3 or 4 and send them out & about. Thank-you for the inspiration!!!
